DC bets on a hard-R villain: Clayface hits theaters this weekend

Warner Bros./DC Studios' Clayface, an R-rated body-horror origin story for the Batman villain, opens Friday and is projected to earn $25M–$30M. It's the character's first lead role in a mainline theatrical release. It faces A24's You Can See Everything, which is expanding to 2,500+ screens after a $15.6M opening, and Street Fighter in its second weekend.
